Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods sign 5-year AEW deals

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their All Elite Wrestling debut earlier this year at All In 2026. Competing as part of a trio with Swerve Strickland, they won the AEW Trios Championship in the match.

The trio later lost the titles to Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King at WrestleDream 2026. The group performed under the name New Level.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have signed five-year contracts with AEW. The deals were reported by Fightful Select.

Swerve Strickland was pitched to work with the duo and played a key role in connecting them with the promotion. Tony Khan had been hesitant to engage with them before their previous contracts ended.

Shortly after their debut, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show. They discussed their departure from their previous promotion, citing a desire to perform and connect with audiences as a major factor.
