CM Punk Appears In First Trailer For Netflix Movie Guarding Stars

The movie Guarding Stars will premiere on Netflix on November 18. The film stars CM Punk along with Jared Padalecki, Andie MacDowell, Leighton Meester, and Siobhan Williams.

Netflix released the first trailer for Guarding Stars on October 14. CM Punk appears briefly in multiple shots throughout the trailer.

The story follows a no-nonsense bodyguard hired to protect a charming action star during the holidays. Complications arise when the bodyguard begins to fall for the star she is protecting.

Guarding Stars is based on Katherine Center's bestselling novel The Bodyguard. This marks CM Punk's second film role of the year after his appearance in Night Patrol earlier in January.

CM Punk also provided a voice role for the movie Zootopia 2 that was released in theaters in November 2025.
