Channing Lorenzo Injured At NXT Live Event

Rusev returned to the ring at the WWE live event in Hawaii on October 16. The appearance marked his first match since sustaining an injury on July 27.
The injury occurred during a match against Je’Von Evans at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Rusev experienced complete numbness in his arms, requiring him to roll out of the ring.
Medical staff considered stopping the match as Rusev reported he could not feel his hands. After regaining sensation, he re-entered the ring and completed the bout despite significant pain.
Rusev's wife CJ Perry noted that he received medical clearance in September. She emphasized that he finished the July match to do what was right for business rather than having the bout stopped.
Perry addressed online rumors suggesting Rusev avoided putting others over. She clarified that he consistently works to create strong stories and support the business.
