Bully Ray Compares Blake Monroe To ECW's Sandman
“I have enjoyed Blake Monroe's work since before she was Blake Monroe. And there's just something about her when she does hardcore matches, when she does extreme matches, when she's telling a story based in any type of match that is not a regular wrestling match.— Bully Ray
Bully Ray praised WWE star Blake Monroe highly on Busted Open, saying she could become the female version of The Sandman. The rivalry between Monroe and Giulia has continued, leading to a brutal street fight on SmackDown that prompted Ray's comments.
Ray stated he has enjoyed Blake Monroe's work since before she was known as Blake Monroe. He highlighted that there is something special about her performances in hardcore matches, extreme matches, and any non-regular wrestling match when she tells a story.
Ray described Monroe as a gorgeous woman who performs violent hardcore actions, noting that no woman that attractive should be able to do such things and that it works for her. Ray discussed Monroe's past hardcore matches and expressed his belief in her potential to develop as a hardcore wrestler.
He declared that knowing what she has done before, he would love to see Blake evolve into a hardcore female wrestler, which is something WWE does not currently have. Ray made the comparison by saying Blake Monroe is the female version of the Sandman.
Monroe has competed in several street fights on both WWE NXT and SmackDown, defeating Jaida Parker in NXT and Giulia on SmackDown.
