Bobby Lashley Offers $10,000 High School Wrestling Challenge

AEW wrestler Bobby Lashley has announced plans for a $10,000 wrestling challenge aimed at high school athletes. The former amateur wrestler, who competed during his college years and while serving in the military, made the comments in a recent interview with Xavier Deguzman.

Lashley visited Junction City to spread goodwill to the local wrestling team. He intends to enter their wrestling room and offer the cash prize directly to any athlete who can take him down. Lashley stated that he would tell the team, "if any one of you suckers can take me down, I’ll write a check for $10,000 for the team." The challenge remains without any official confirmation or details shared so far.

As an active member of the AEW roster, Lashley's most recent appearance came in a Two On Three Handicap match during the Fright Night Collision taping on October 28, 2026.
