Alexa Bliss Recalls Planned Reunion With Bray Wyatt
Alexa Bliss appeared on Brandi Rhodes’ ‘A Shot of Brandi’ show and reflected on her experiences with Bray Wyatt. It has been three years since Windham Rotunda, known as Bray Wyatt, passed away. During the later part of Rotunda’s first WWE run he was paired with Bliss on programming.
She stated that participating helped her achieve closure with Rotunda. Bliss revealed they had been scheduled to reunite on WWE television after WrestleMania. She said the last time she was with him was at WrestleMania when she turned on him against Randy Orton and then they planned to join back together after one WrestleMania.
Bliss explained that she found out she was pregnant and he became sick so they missed each other like ships in the night. She recalled that Rotunda once said in an interview that she and he would always be connected in some way and that gave her comfort.
Bliss described walking through the haunted house the first time as feeling like someone hit her in the gut because it featured all of Windham’s ideas. She noted that Rotunda had always wanted a house at Halloween Horror Nights and seeing it realized was cool yet bittersweet since he would never see it.
Bliss performed in the Firefly Funhouse scene next to a television playing Windham repeatedly and called the experience both cool and heartbreaking.
