Yota Tsuji Set for MLW Debut at Saturday Night SuperFight
Yota Tsuji from New Japan Pro-Wrestling is scheduled to make his debut for Major League Wrestling at the Saturday Night SuperFight event. The show is set for November 7 at the sold-out Cicero Stadium in Chicago and will be broadcast live worldwide on pay-per-view through VEEPS.
Tsuji holds the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and is known for his combination of heavyweight power and explosive athleticism. His signature Gene Blaster move is highlighted as a decisive finisher capable of ending matches quickly.
The announcement follows weeks of cryptic messages aired on MLW Fusion that signaled an arrival from outside the promotion. Tsuji's entry advances MLW's strategic partnership with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and fits the theme of MLW versus the world.
His debut adds an international dimension to the card at Cicero Stadium. The event is already sold out, with Tsuji's specific opponent to be revealed at a later date.
The Saturday Night SuperFight card also includes a Last Man Standing match between Killer Kross and Josh Bishop as well as the MLW debut of Tessa Blanchard.
