WWE Signs Necro Butcher To Legends Deal

WWE has signed Necro Butcher to a Legends deal. The agreement is described as a nostalgia contract for the deathmatch legend who never competed in the promotion during his career.

The deal was influenced by the positive feedback WWE received after adding hardcore wrestler New Jack to WWE 2K26. WWE President Nick Khan reportedly advocated for Necro Butcher to be included in a similar capacity.

According to reports, the contract positions Necro Butcher for potential inclusion in WWE video games. He will not be brought in to wrestle under the agreement.

Necro Butcher is among the few wrestlers to receive a Legends deal without ever performing for WWE. The company has previously inducted non-WWE competitors into its Hall of Fame.

The 53-year-old continues to compete in his hardcore style on the independent circuit. His career, including a notable 2005 match against Samoa Joe, was featured in an episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
