“My favorite promo he ever did was with my brother, Dustin, 'The View Never Changes,' talking about neglecting Dustin and wanting to be his partner.— Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes discussed his favorite promo delivered by his father Dusty Rhodes. While many point to the well-known Hard Times promo, Rhodes noted that his father had performed a version of it earlier on Ole Anderson in Georgia Championship Wrestling before it was televised.

Rhodes identified a 1994 WCW promo as his personal favorite. In that segment, Dusty spoke with his son Dustin about neglecting him and expressed a desire to become his partner.

The promo was titled The View Never Changes. Rhodes explained that their family has often lived their personal experiences publicly.

He described the character Cody Rhodes as being quite real despite the performance aspect of WWE. The primary distinction lies between the names Runnels and Rhodes.

Rhodes stated that sharing the moment with his brother through the promo served as the only way their father could apologize and express love to Dustin.
