WWE Plans John Cena Classic Details For Raw

John Cena will appear on the November 2 episode of Raw to reveal details about the first-ever John Cena Classic. The show will air live from Brooklyn, New York, with a special start time of 6PM EST. It marks Cena's first appearance on Raw since his in-ring retirement.
Cena used social media to promote the segment and confirm that it will begin the build toward the John Cena Classic. The event is scheduled to take place in December. Cena first mentioned the concept during an appearance at WWE Backlash in May.
The John Cena Classic is intended as WWE's version of an All-Star Game. It will feature talent from both the main roster and NXT. A fan vote will determine the John Cena Classic Champion, with wrestlers remaining eligible to win even after losing matches.
The championship is expected to be ceremonial and will not be defended in future matches. Cena developed the idea for the event after becoming a WWE ambassador following his retirement in December 2025. WWE has not yet officially announced the exact date, location, or broadcast details for the show.
Internal planning for the John Cena Classic has been ongoing since the initial announcement. Cena's upcoming Raw appearance is expected to provide further information on those aspects. WWE will also pre-tape the November 6 episode of SmackDown during the same night in Brooklyn.
