WWE ID apologizes to Beyond Wrestling for Sloane Jacobs

WWE ID issued an apology to Beyond Wrestling and its sister promotion Wrestling Open for the behavior of Sloane Jacobs. The program described Beyond as an important partner for independent wrestlers to develop since its launch in 2024.

Sloane Jacobs previously held a developmental contract with WWE in 2022 that included matches on Level Up and NXT. She has been wrestling on the independent circuit as The Notorious Mimi and recently aligned with Evolve Women’s champion Nikkita Lyons.

Beyond Wrestling reposted the apology message from WWE ID and added a comment stating it had nothing but love for the program. The promotion later responded to a follow-up message by sharing a screenshot of Jacobs’ profile that listed both of her names.

WWE ID’s statement emphasized the value of Wrestling Open as a place for talent to grow. Beyond Wrestling replied that it appreciated Jacobs’ past contributions to the promotion while noting it had many messages to address and would not continue the exchange.
