WWE ESPN Lawsuit Response Deadline Set
A federal judge in Connecticut gave WWE, ESPN and related parties until October 16 to respond to an objection filed by plaintiffs Michael Diesa and Rebella Toback over adding ESPN and BAMTech as defendants. The objection concerns allegations that WWE misled buyers about accessing major events on the ESPN Unlimited platform after WrestlePalooza 2025. The court will delay any decision on moving the case to arbitration until the objection is resolved. The proposed class covers U.S. customers who paid for the ESPN App between August 6 and September 20 2025 while already subscribed through cable or live TV providers.
