WrestleDream 2026 features new Clockwork Carnage title match

All Elite Wrestling presents WrestleDream 2026 on October 17 from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The event begins with a Tailgate Brawl special on TNT and a Buy In pre-show on YouTube at 7 pm ET, followed by the main pay-per-view card at 8 pm ET.

The show is available for purchase in the United States through PPV.com, HBO Max, Amazon, DAZN, Fubo, YouTube, and cable or satellite providers. International fans in the UK and other markets can access it via MyAEW.

AEW scheduled WrestleDream just three weeks after All Out. The compressed timeline included time spent on tributes, which limited story development and contributed to the introduction of a new match type for the world title.

The main event is a Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW world championship. It combines elements of a Casino Gauntlet in the first phase and an Iron Man format in the second phase, lasting approximately 33 minutes if the timing proceeds without interruption.

Eight wrestlers participate across two phases. The Entry Phase begins with two competitors and adds a new entrant every three minutes until all eight are involved, with any wrestler pinned or submitted during this stage being eliminated.

Surviving wrestlers advance to the 15-minute Scoring Phase, where they compete to record the most pins or submissions. The wrestler with the highest score at the end becomes the AEW world champion.
