Vietnam's Ares set for NJPW debut in Korakuen Hall tag match

A wrestler from Vietnam named Ares is scheduled to make his debut for NJPW. He will compete in a tag team match on the October 12 Road to King of Pro Wrestling event at Korakuen Hall.
Ares will team with IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji. They are set to face Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr.
Tsuji attended a Vietnam Pro Wrestling event last month where he recruited Ares to train at NJPW's Noge Dojo. Ares has been active in Vietnam Pro Wrestling since 2022.
Ares held the Vietnam Pro Wrestling openweight championship for a total of 518 days. He lost the title last month in the main event of the promotion's annual Rumble card.
NJPW will hold two nights of Road to King of Pro Wrestling events at Korakuen Hall on October 6 and October 7. The promotion will then move to Ryogoku Sumo Hall for the King of Pro Wrestling event.
