Tony Khan Teases Hurt Syndicate's Mercenary Future

“the Hurt Syndicate have said they are for hire. So, we could see them any place, any time, for the right amount of money.— Tony Khan
During a media call ahead of WrestleDream, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Mick Foley and the Hurt Syndicate. Khan highlighted their involvement in major events such as Double or Nothing and All In London.
He praised Mick Foley's positive contributions to the company outside the ring. Khan noted that the Hurt Syndicate has positioned themselves as available for hire under the right circumstances.
The group previously had interactions with Shane Taylor Promotions after a brawl at the Brawl in the Ballpark. They also worked alongside Big Boom AJ, Big Justice, and The Rizzler instead of confronting them.
Khan compared the Hurt Syndicate's approach to that of the A-Team. He expressed respect for Bobby, Shelton, and MVP while indicating they could serve as hired support for various parties in AEW.
The Hurt Syndicate has not appeared in AEW matches since the All In pre-show in late August.
