Tommaso Ciampa Eyes Match With Shingo Takagi In NJPW

Tommaso Ciampa has expressed interest in competing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He specifically wants to face Shingo Takagi in the ring.

Ciampa noted that Takagi stands out as an opponent he has long wanted to share the ring with. He indicated openness to appearing on select shows but ruled out a full tour or participation in the G1 Climax due to his body and personal life.

Takagi recently competed against several AEW wrestlers. Over the summer he teamed up in a tag match against PAC and Claudio Castagnoli.

Takagi blamed that tag match for his underwhelming performance in the G1 Climax. He later called out Castagnoli and defeated him at the Destruction event last month.

Takagi is set to face Jon Moxley at the Power Struggle event on November 3.
