Young Bucks Retain AEW Tag Titles At WrestleDream

Will Ospreay will defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe, Mike Bailey, Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, and Darby Allin in a Clockwork Carnage Match at WrestleDream 2026. The match begins with two wrestlers in the ring, with the remaining six entering at three-minute intervals. Eliminations by pinfall or submission cannot occur until all eight competitors have entered the ring.

Once all wrestlers are in the ring, the match advances to a second stage featuring a 15-minute time limit. Competitors score points through pinfalls and submissions during this period. The wrestler with the most points at the end of the time limit will be declared the AEW World Champion.

Mercedes Mone will defend the AEW Women's World Championship against Thekla. Mone comes off a successful title defense against Queen Aminata on the October 6 episode of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam France. Thekla earned her title opportunity by defeating Willow Nightingale in a number one contender's match at All Out on September 26.

Hangman Adam Page, Brody King, and Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido will challenge Swerve Strickland, Kofi Creed, and Austin Creed for the AEW World Trios Championship in a best two-out-of-three-falls match. The trio previously came up short against the champions at All Out last month.

Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. The Young Bucks won the titles at All Out on September 26 in a three-way match that also included Christian Cage, Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler.

Persephone will defend the TBS Championship against Hyan, Queen Aminata, and Dani Luna in a four-way match. Hyan and Dani Luna defeated Persephone and Britt Baker on the recent Dynamite and Collision double feature, leading to a beatdown that was interrupted by Aminata.
