TKO's Shapiro Unconcerned About WrestleMania 43 In Saudi Arabia

TKO executive Mark Shapiro expressed no major concerns about WrestleMania 43 taking place in Saudi Arabia next year during a recent earnings call. Shapiro noted that WWE has already received half of the payment upfront from its Saudi partners for the event.

He stated that even if the show had to be relocated it would never be cancelled and the company would still receive the remaining payment. He indicated that a long list of primarily U.S. cities have expressed willingness to host WrestleMania on short notice although such a move would mean forgoing the F.I.P.

Shapiro added that these cities are standing willing ready and waiting to step in if needed but the company remains unconcerned about having to make that decision. His optimism stems in part from a tweet by Vice President JD Vance blaming Republican midterm losses on the ongoing Iran War which Shapiro interprets as a potential sign that the regional conflict could soon end.
