The Rock Transforms Into Elderly Man For Lizard Man Film

The first photos from the film "Lizard Man" show Dwayne Johnson in a transformed appearance. Using makeup and prosthetics, he portrays a 70-year-old man. Johnson has also reduced his weight to 235 pounds, his lowest since high school.

Images shared by the New York Post's Page Six depict Johnson in full costume during filming. The movie is directed by Benny Safdie, with whom Johnson previously collaborated on "The Smashing Machine."

Johnson aims to mix his usual big franchise projects with more unconventional roles like this one. "Lizard Man" is set for release on Christmas Day 2027. The story, adapted from a book by Daniel Pinkwater, centers on a young boy who befriends Johnson's character and his 85-year-old chicken.

While preparing for the role, Johnson posted an Instagram tribute following the passing of PAC, whose real name is Benjamin Satterley. In the tribute he shared positive comments about AEW. He later noted that as a member of the TKO Board of Directors he does not see others as competition during such times and emphasized the importance of showing humanity.
