Tatum Paxley reflects on path to WWE Women's Tag Team title

Tatum Paxley is the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. She won the title with Alexa Bliss just over two months after making her main roster debut on SmackDown in August.

Paxley described the moment of victory as a dream come true. She recalled standing in the ring holding the title with pyro going off while looking over at Alexa Bliss.

Alexa Bliss had served as an inspiration for Paxley. Charlotte Flair also provided support from backstage during the achievement.

The championship has remained with Paxley since she and Bliss defeated the former champions, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. It marks her third title in WWE after previously winning the top women's championship and North American championship in NXT.

Paxley found the transition from NXT to SmackDown to be seamless. She felt prepared because she knew her identity, how to connect with audiences, and how to perform in the ring.

She credited Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for helping her during the move to the main roster. Paxley prefers approaching her career without a fixed plan.
