Sunil Singh Cleared After Collapsed Lung

Sunil Singh, also known as Gurv Sihra, suffered a collapsed lung on September 21 during a match for Pure Power Wrestling in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Backstage afterward Singh struggled to breathe and could not get to his feet, an experience that left him feeling like he was facing death.
He was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with pneumothorax and later described himself as lucky to be alive. Singh announced on November 3 that he had been officially cleared by his trauma doctor to return to the ring.
In his post he thanked everyone who sent well wishes, prayers and positive vibes during the two and a half months of uncertainty. He stated that anything is possible with a positive mindset and faith, adding the quote “Conquer your mind. Conquer the world.”
Singh said he looks forward to getting back into the ring, continuing his wrestling journey and accomplishing remaining dreams and goals while wearing his injuries as badges of honor over 22 years. He expressed hope that fans continue to cheer on The Bollywood Boyz and noted that this highway man is ready to make towns, calling the clearance a perfect way to start Diwali week.
