Stu Grayson Discusses Explosive Canadian Style With Josh Alexander
“Listen, Josh and I, the last time we wrestled each other, I think it was 2018 in Montreal, and, we had a really, really good time. We always matched up really well.— Stu Grayson

Stu Grayson looked back on his match against Josh Alexander at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Northern Rising. The bout took place on October 3 in a Canadian Championship unification match that Alexander won.

Grayson noted that he and Alexander had previously wrestled in Montreal in 2018 and always matched up well. Both men share a foundation in classic Canadian pro wrestling.

He described their approach as an explosive Canadian technical style. This combines technical soundness with innovative, high-impact moves that reflect the new age of pro wrestling.

Grayson highlighted how their similar backgrounds allow for strong chemistry. Alexander brings striking and technical skills while Grayson incorporates power moves and high flying, creating an explosive contest.

The match was highly physical as both wrestlers agreed beforehand to push each other to the limit. Grayson said they tested one another to see how far they could go.

Alexander was returning from a knee injury and had limited ring time leading into the match. Both competitors prefer to wrestle frequently and used the bout to demonstrate their capabilities.
