Steve Maclin Still Buzzing After Street Fight With Adam Copeland
“I’m feeling great. I’m still buzzing from Northern Rising. It’s like a dream come true of a matchup and a day that I will cherish and now probably chase the rest of my career, just for that feeling of comfort and being an adult in this business, but then also still having that inner child in me enjoy every moment and then looking across at one of my heroes.— Steve Maclin

Steve Maclin defeated Adam Copeland in a Street Fight at Maple Leaf Wrestling’s Northern Rising event. The match took place ten weeks after Maclin broke his fibula during a bout against Isaiah Broner at NCG Drive To Glory. In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Maclin said he was still buzzing from the Northern Rising event.

Maclin described the matchup as a dream come true that he will cherish and chase for the rest of his career. He explained that the day combined feeling like an adult in the business with still having an inner child enjoying every moment while facing one of his heroes.

Maclin stated that his leg is feeling good after completing a leg workout. He noted that his recovery and rehab have been a long road but he has been fully cleared since before Northern Rising and is back to full strength.

Maclin added that he will continue rehab for a long time but is ready to take on the world wherever needed. A two-part documentary on Maclin’s journey to MLP’s Northern Rising is available on the Boots To Boots YouTube channel.
