Sol Ruca Overcomes Imposter Syndrome On WWE Main Roster
“Especially as an athlete, I feel like a lot of us have a bit of imposter syndrome, thinking, ‘I don’t know if this is right for me. This isn’t something I was passionate about when I was a little kid.’ But now I’m passionate about it, and that was definitely a bit of reassurance that this is where I’m supposed to be, I’m in the right place, and this is something I want to continue doing.— Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca discussed her transition to the WWE main roster and overcoming feelings of imposter syndrome during a recent interview. The former NXT Women’s North American Champion arrived on the main roster in April 2026. She soon captured the women’s Intercontinental Championship after her arrival.

Ruca has remained a regular presence in the WWE Monday Night RAW women’s division since winning the title. While speaking to the Fresno Bee, she addressed how she managed to shake off a bit of imposter syndrome as an athlete.

Ruca explained that she reached a point of realization where she affirmed her place in the company. She noted that many athletes experience imposter syndrome and question if their path is correct, especially if it was not a childhood passion.

Ruca stated that she has since become passionate about her role and received reassurance that she belongs in WWE and wants to keep performing there.
