SmackDown Preview: Stratton Aims to Stop Bella Title Bid

SmackDown airs live tonight from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia. The show marks the third episode in the four-week build toward Crown Jewel on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE is promoting the episode as Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown in observance of the Halloween season.

Nikki Bella, coming off a loss to Paige, challenges Chelsea Green for the WWE women’s championship in the main event. The defeat to Paige means Green could potentially retain the title without outside interference. Stratton has teased multiple cash-ins over the past week on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan as a possible diversion.

A successful cash-in tonight would alter the Crown Jewel women’s title match to Liv Morgan versus Stratton. Sami Zayn defends the WWE championship against United States Champion Trick Williams on the show.
