Shayna Baszler Challenges Indi Hartwell For Knockouts Title

On the October 29 episode of TNA iMPACT, Zoey Serrano attacked a ringside security team member. Shayna Baszler then took a headset from commentary and announced that authority figure Daria Rae had hired her to challenge Indi Hartwell for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Destination X.

Baszler told Hartwell that her feel-good story and dream would become a nightmare with Baszler haunting it from then on. The segment followed last week's tease where Daria Rae appeared unimpressed on the entrance ramp after Hartwell's title defense against Xia Brookside.

That distraction allowed Baszler and Serrano to attack Hartwell from behind. Baszler applied a chokehold until Hartwell passed out, then raised the Knockouts Title to signal the upcoming title match. Hartwell won the Knockouts World Championship by beating Xia Brookside at TNA Bound For Glory. On the same card, Baszler and Serrano defeated Allie and Kiera Hogan to become the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.

The Destination X title match will be only the second singles bout between Hartwell and Baszler and their first under the TNA banner. Destination X takes place November 15 at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. TNA World Champion Leon Slater will defend his title against Trey Miguel at the same event.
