Brian Johnson Appointed TNA Authority Figure

During the October 29 episode of TNA Wrestling's Thursday Night iMPACT, cameras captured a backstage segment involving authority figure Daria Rae. Rae was on her phone when 'The Mecca' Brian Johnson entered the frame. Rae noted that Johnson had been attempting to secure a position with TNA for a year.

Johnson replied that he had now obtained a job, having been appointed by the Board of Directors to monitor Rae. He explained that following her suspension for putting her hands on Indi Hartwell, his role was to report any similar incidents back to the Board.

Rae responded that she would contact the Board herself before walking away. Johnson has been wrestling for 19 years and competed in Ring of Honor from 2017 to 2021 prior to its acquisition by Tony Khan. He has also participated in five TNA Xplosion matches since 2025.
