Shawn Michaels Explains Tony D'Angelo's Delayed Call-Up

Tony D'Angelo has been part of NXT for more than five years without receiving a call-up to the WWE main roster.

He stated that he always performs at full effort and focuses on continuous learning and improvement.

Shawn Michaels and other officials have told D'Angelo that the delay is due to timing and the specific needs of the main roster rather than any shortcomings in his work or readiness.

D'Angelo emphasized that he is not a quitter and remains committed to pursuing a main roster opportunity regardless of how long it takes.

He added that giving up would be a disservice to his family, coaches, parents, and son.
