Scotty 2 Hotty's signature move known as the worm became highly popular during his time in a wrestling stable. He first learned the dance move while he was in fourth grade.
He began performing the worm as part of his entrance with Brian Christopher when the pair worked together as Too Much in WWE.
The wrestler discussed the origins of the move during an appearance on a podcast with Chris Van Vliet.
He noted that the success of the worm was something that happened naturally and could not have been planned in advance.
Based on that experience, he advises younger wrestlers to experiment with different ideas because it is impossible to predict what will connect with audiences.
