Ricochet Praises Ease Of PAC Tribute Match With Ospreay

Ricochet faced Will Ospreay on the September 30 episode of AEW Dynamite in a match held as a tribute to PAC. The bout received widespread praise from fans with some calling it one of the best matches in company history.
In an interview with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated Ricochet said he and Ospreay put the match together with ease. Ricochet explained that focusing on the match helped him get through the day by giving him something to concentrate on amid sad times.
He noted that PAC had been integral to both of their careers and they had wrestled him many times so they already knew how they wanted the tribute match to go. Ricochet stated the hardest part was simply going out there and performing adding that it was criminal how quickly he and Ospreay assembled everything.
He remarked they worked so well together and knew PAC so well that they finished planning and said they would see each other later. Ricochet added that they went out there to perform for the people who would appreciate it and that having the match helped the day go by a little smoother despite the sadness.
