Ric Flair Explains His Remarkable Longevity

Ric Flair, a 77-year-old professional wrestling legend, recently injured his eye after falling outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida, and requires one additional surgery as a result.
The incident prompted questions about how Flair continues to survive given his advanced age and history.
In response on social media, Flair highlighted statistics from his career along with multiple brushes with death.
He referenced competing in over 5,000 matches, including 2,400 one-hour draws and five 90-minute bouts.
Flair also noted enduring a grueling 24-hour round trip to Japan followed by three one-hour draws, as well as surviving an airplane crash that led to 31 days in the ICU, 14 days on life support, and 35 days in rehabilitation.
He expressed disbelief that people would worry about his recent fall in light of those past experiences.
