Perry Saturn Recovers After Third COVID-19 Bout

Perry Saturn has recovered after being hospitalized for his third bout with COVID-19. The former ECW, WWE and WCW wrestler revealed on his YouTube channel that he contracted the virus despite being vaccinated. Saturn said his breathing worsened and he lost his voice, prompting him to return to the emergency room.

Doctors there diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection in addition to the COVID-19. He remained in the ER for about 48 hours while coughing up thick mucus and struggling to find relief. Saturn reported that a doctor admitted uncertainty about the problem and that limited help was provided for his cough.

He brought his own over-the-counter medicine, and once treatment began his condition improved within two days. The 60-year-old is now recovering at home but continues to need his cough medicine.
