Okada Retains Title and Advances to Clockwork Carnage

Kazuchika Okada remains the AEW International Champion after defeating Myron Reed on AEW Dynamite.

The victory also qualified Okada for the Clockwork Carnage match at AEW WrestleDream.

The match opened with back-and-forth action before Reed attempted a backslide that Okada escaped.

Reed connected with an enziguri that sent Okada to the floor, but Okada quickly returned to the ring and gained the upper hand by driving Reed face-first into the mat.

Both wrestlers traded near-misses from the top rope, including avoided 450 splashes, before Reed landed a dive on the outside.

Okada ultimately hit the Rainmaker after dodging a cutter to secure the pinfall win.
