NXT Moves to Compete with AEW Dynamite

WWE's NXT program normally airs on Tuesday nights. AEW's Dynamite airs on Wednesday nights. The two shows have occasionally competed directly against each other.
Earlier this month AEW Dynamite moved to Tuesday because its regular Wednesday slot was taken by Major League Baseball playoff coverage. The relocated episode went head to head with NXT.
The November 3 edition of NXT will now air on November 4. The shift is required because the CW Network will broadcast election coverage on November 3.
The rescheduled NXT episode will therefore compete directly with AEW Dynamite on November 4. That night's Dynamite is scheduled as the annual Blood and Guts special.
Blood and Guts is an AEW event that uses a double-ring cage structure filled with weapons. The format is modeled after WWE's WarGames matches.
During this week's Dynamite the men's Blood and Guts match was confirmed. One team will consist of members from The Don Callis Family while the opposing side includes Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, The Young Bucks, Darby Allin, and Steven Borden.
