Ric Flair Cancels Seattle Appearance Over Blood Clot

Ric Flair has canceled his scheduled appearance at the Washington State Horror Con in Seattle. The WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW employee cited a blood clot in his leg as the reason for the cancellation.

Medical advice has restricted Flair's travel to no more than three to four hours. Seattle is outside that limit, forcing him to prioritize his health and recovery over the event.

Flair issued a public apology to his agent, the convention organizers, and his fans in Seattle for the inconvenience. He emphasized that the decision was difficult but necessary given the seriousness of the condition.

Blood clots can be life-threatening, a point Flair highlighted by referencing recent discussions around Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and complications involving clots in his lungs.

Flair is scheduled to undergo a procedure to strip the affected vein. Doctors expect this will allow him to be cleared for more extensive travel afterward.
