NXT Dusty Cup Semi-Finals Set For Final Show Before Halloween Havoc

The NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semi-finals will take place on the final episode before Halloween Havoc. The show airs on the CW Network in the U.S. and on Netflix in Canada and other territories. Vic Joseph and Booker T will call the action from ringside.

In the first semi-final match, NXT Tag Team Champions Vanity Project accompanied by Myka Lockwood face Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno. Joseph noted that Dar was bandaged and wrestling with an injury from the weekend but had been cleared to compete.

Vanity Project isolated Dar early by pulling him from the ring and smashing him into the steps, recreating the spot that caused his injury. Dar eventually made a hot tag and hit a German suplex along with body blows on Smokes before Vanity Project regained control by grabbing his injured forehead and staples while the referee was distracted.

The match broke down into chaos with all four men in the ring and outside interference attempts, but Dar and Moreno countered a double-team move from the top rope, leading to Smokes accidentally hitting his partner. Dar and Moreno then hit their finisher for the pinfall victory, with Joseph calling it a continuing Cinderella story.

The second semi-final will see AAA Tag Team Champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno take on Hank and Tank.
