NXT Canada Tour Draws Over 2,000 Fans in Kitchener

WWE NXT held two house shows in Ontario this week as part of a three-date Canadian tour. The first event took place on October 15 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, Ontario and drew 2,043 fans.
Shawn Spears appeared at the Kitchener show and stated afterward that it could be his final performance in Canada. He also competed on the following night's card in Sudbury.
On October 16, NXT presented a house show at the Sudbury Community Arena in Sudbury, Ontario featuring a largely identical lineup to the previous evening. The event concluded after Channing Lorenzo was injured while taking a back body drop over the ropes to the floor.
Lorenzo was stretchered out of the ringside area following the incident and was later hospitalized. NXT's Canadian tour wraps up on October 17 with a house show in Gatineau, Quebec.
