NJPW Tanahashi Jam 2 Adds Cross-Promotion Matches

NJPW has revealed the first matches for Tanahashi Jam 2, an event produced by President Hiroshi Tanahashi that features talent from multiple promotions. The card includes cross-promotional bouts involving stars from DDT and Pro Wrestling NOAH alongside NJPW wrestlers.
A six-man tag match will pit Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita teaming with DDT's Takeshi Masada against Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa and NOAH's Kaito Kiyomiya. Sabre Jr. maintains strong ties to DDT, while Fujita and Masada share a history of teaming together. Oiwa and Kiyomiya also have a close connection from Oiwa's time in NOAH.
Shun Skywalker will make his first defense of the NJPW World Television Title against Toru Yano. The two have been feuding since Skywalker captured the championship from Konosuke Takeshita in late September.
An eight-man tag team match will see the House of Torture's SHO, SANADA, Yujiro Takahashi and Yoshinobu Kanemaru face Yuya Uemura, Aaron Wolf, Tatsumi Fujinami and DDT's Kaisei Takechi. Takechi previously competed against the House of Torture at last year's Purge Night of Torture event and teamed with Uemura earlier this year at Wrestle Kingdom.
Shota Umino will face Taiwanese wrestler Axe Wang in a singles match. Wang previously appeared at NJPW's Taiwan event in 2024 and trained at the New Japan Dojo, making this an international showdown.
The event will also include a Monster Rambo match, though no participants have been announced yet.
