Nile Remains Active on WWE Roster

Nile's contract was due to expire at the beginning of October. She remains listed as an active talent on WWE's roster page.

Nile appeared on the October 6 episode of NXT in a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship. Wren Sinclair won the match while impersonating Lady Shani.

The NXT appearance came after a long stretch away from WWE's main shows. Nile has been off Raw since March and has wrestled only two matches on the show this year.

Most of her work in 2026 has come on WWE Main Event, where she has wrestled 12 times. Those matches included bouts against NXT talent such as Thea Hail, Wendy Choo and Lizzy Rain.

Nile won a tournament in May 2025 to become number one contender for the WWE Women's Speed Championship but lost to Sol Ruca in the title match. Reports indicated that WWE had plans for her including a tag team with Jordynne Grace, though related vignettes that were filmed never aired.
