Max Caster Steps Away From Wrestling For Therapy
“I will be stepping away from the ring for an extended period of time. I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna go to therapy, I’m gonna get it right so that the next time I’m in the ring it feels like I’m at home.— Max Caster
Max Caster debuted for TNA at Slammiversary by answering Moose's open challenge. In his pre-match rap, he referenced the bombing in Riyadh, which led to him being released from the company on the same day he signed a contract.
Caster issued a public statement and apologized to many people involved. He noted that he had not yet directly apologized to the fans who were excited about his appearance or returning to the product but ended up disappointed.
At an ACW event, Caster thanked the promotion for welcoming him. He expressed appreciation for the fan support he received after the incident and stated his love and thanks to those in attendance.
Caster announced that he will step away from wrestling for an extended period. He plans to return home and attend therapy to address his issues so that future appearances in the ring feel comfortable again.
