Max Caster announces extended hiatus from wrestling

Max Caster has announced an extended hiatus from professional wrestling after his recent departure from TNA Wrestling.

He addressed the audience at an ACW event regarding the controversy from his appearance at TNA Bound for Glory the previous weekend that prompted the company to cut ties with him.

Caster noted that he had started and ended his contract with TNA within a single day and had already issued a public statement and apologized to several people but had not yet spoken directly to the fans.

He acknowledged that many viewers were excited to see TNA programming and were now disappointed by his absence from the show.

Caster thanked supporters and the ACW audience before stating that he would step away from the ring for an extended period to go home and attend therapy.

The announcement follows his TNA debut against Moose at Bound for Glory on October 11 where his entrance rap included a reference to deadly attacks in Riyadh that drew widespread criticism.
