Kevin Knight Open To NJPW Return

“I would love to go back in New Japan and show the audience just how much I’ve grown in my character and my stature, in my work.— Kevin Knight
Kevin Knight has expressed openness to returning to NJPW. He last appeared for the promotion in May 2025 during the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
Since that time, Knight has experienced significant success in AEW. In a recent interview, he was asked about the possibility of following Kenny Omega's path back to NJPW.
Knight stated that he would personally love the opportunity to return if the timing works out. He noted that Omega had a much longer history with the company and had achieved major success there before joining AEW.
Knight acknowledged that New Japan fans have already connected with Omega, making his own potential return a different situation. He expressed a desire to demonstrate his growth in character, stature, and in-ring work to the audience.
Knight pointed out that NJPW had seen him at the start of his career as a Young Lion. He believes some additional time may be needed before a return but ultimately wants to showcase his development to the promotion's fans.
Knight is scheduled to team with Kyle Fletcher to challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream.
