Judge Keeps AEW Moxley Lawsuit In Michigan

A judge denied a request from AEW and Jon Moxley to transfer a civil lawsuit to a Florida court. The case will remain in Michigan where the incident took place.
Former AEW production worker Christopher Dispensa filed the lawsuit in May 2025. The suit alleges negligence, civil assault, and battery after he was pushed to the floor by Moxley in May 2023.
AEW had sought to move the case to Florida in July. The company cited that Dispensa and most of his doctors reside there.
A second settlement conference is scheduled for December 22, 2026. The first conference occurred in July of this year.
