John Cena Reveals Go-To Halloween Costume

“It is a one-to-one replica. So that’s like if I need an emergency costume.— John Cena
John Cena revealed his go-to Halloween costume during an appearance on The Romesh Ranganathan Show. The wrestler said his failsafe option is his full WWE ring gear consisting of jorts, knee pads, sneakers, a ball cap, T-shirt, double wristbands and a rally towel.
Cena described the outfit as a one-to-one replica that he can use as an emergency costume if needed. He added that he keeps the costume as a crutch because he lacks motivation to dress up for the occasion. Cena explained that while he is not anti-Halloween, he makes up for his lack of creativity in costumes by becoming the top candy house in his neighborhood.
He hands out oversized candy bars that he compared to diabetes in a wrapper, recalling how as a child he would repeatedly visit the one house that gave full-size bars. The performer noted that his community now has new neighbors with children, resulting in good numbers of trick-or-treaters each year.
His wife initially thought he was giving away too much candy when she first learned of his approach, but Cena insisted it was not enough. Cena stated that what he lacks in costume enthusiasm he compensates for by rewarding those who do dress up, emphasizing that both sides are necessary for the holiday.
