Jacy Jayne feared release before NXT title win
“Before I won the title, I actually thought I was getting released.— Jacy Jayne

Jacy Jayne is now a key part of the main roster along with her Fatal Influence stablemates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. All three currently hold championships.

During her time in NXT, Jayne experienced significant anxiety in the weeks before winning the NXT Women's Championship. She believed she was about to be released from the company and suffered panic attacks.

After capturing the title, Jayne felt she was in a do-or-die position. She believed she needed to perform at one hundred percent with no slip-ups every time she appeared on television.

Her consistent attitude and performance eventually impressed WWE officials. They determined she could be placed in any role and still succeed, which contributed to her move to the main roster.

Jayne had spent four years in NXT before winning the championship. She initially gained attention as part of Toxic Attraction but later fell down the card while still receiving television time in a supporting role.

She found her identity as a wrestler during her time with Chase U. This led her to seek the role of champion and the top performer rather than remaining in a supporting position.
