Jackson Drake to defend North American title next week on NXT

Jackson Drake will defend the North American Championship next week on NXT against EK Prosper. The announcement came after Robert Stone informed Vanity Project that a scheduled six-man tag team match would not occur because Mini Vikingo was not medically cleared.

Drake initially reacted positively to the cancellation of the tag match. His mood shifted when Stone revealed that he would instead make a title defense against Prosper the following week.

The semifinals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic are also set for next week. Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar will face Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor, while Hank and Tank will take on the Wagner Brothers.

Saquon Shugars is scheduled to compete against Sean Legacy. The matchup follows a confrontation between the two in the locker room on Tuesday.
