Indy vets debate scene health after Produce hiatus

Produce Wrestling announced it is going on hiatus and postponing all shows scheduled for this year until early 2027. Sam Adonis called the news the latest evidence that making a living on independent bookings is harder than it has been in years and said the claim that the indies are alive and well is untrue. Vinnie Massaro replied that while super indies like Produce and GCW face major challenges, local indies remain alive and well.
