Indi Hartwell Aims To Inspire Australian Wrestlers As TNA Knockouts Champion

Indi Hartwell retained her Knockouts World Championship on TNA Impact. She defeated Xia Brookside in an impromptu match for the title.

Hartwell had beaten Brookside for the championship at Bound For Glory earlier in the month. During the show, Hartwell interrupted Daria Rae's return promo, leading Rae to book the immediate rematch even though Hartwell was not dressed in ring gear.

Brookside entered and quickly targeted Hartwell's left arm on the outside of the ring. She continued working over the arm inside the ring but could not secure a pinfall.

Hartwell mounted a comeback and attempted a Full Nelson slam. The damage to her arm prevented her from executing the move, allowing Brookside to resume attacking the injured limb.

Brookside went for her Darkside DDT, but Hartwell escaped and hit a big boot followed by a slam to score the winning pinfall. After the match, Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler ambushed Hartwell in the ring.

Baszler choked out the champion and posed with the Knockouts World Championship belt. Rae observed the scene from the entrance ramp with visible amusement.
