End of an Era: Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles Set for New Roles Amid Bruce Prichard Retirement
AJ Styles concluded his in-ring career earlier this year with a loss to Gunther at the Royal Rumble in January.
Since retiring, Styles has received numerous requests from fans and fellow wrestlers to return to competition.
In a recent interview, Jerry Coughlan suggested that Amazing Red could be the person to convince Styles to come out of retirement.
Red agreed with the idea, noting that he has observed Styles continuing to train and visit various dojos while following his son's activities.
Red compared wrestling to an ex-girlfriend that refuses to leave, stating that it is difficult to fully walk away from the sport even after taking necessary breaks.
He mentioned the possibility of first facing Styles' son, potentially for the X-Division title, as a way to reach Styles if the timing aligns.
