David Finlay Played Contract Chess Before Joining AEW
“I took a little longer playing the contract chess game with everybody.— David Finlay
David Finlay and Clark Connors are key members of the new AEW stable The Cut, which was previously known as The Last Outfit. The duo arrived in AEW full-time in the winter along with former stablemate Gabe Kidd. They have been with the promotion for less than a year.
Finlay described engaging in contract chess with everybody before ending up with his boys in March. When asked about their experience in AEW so far, both gave it two thumbs up. Finlay said he likes it because he gets to kick ass, be with his boys, visit a different city twice a week, and mess with Connors on TV. Finlay added that there is nothing really to complain about.
